Supervised grooming, handle with care,
You were the picture of feisty & rare

What wish would you ask?
You kept us busy so we wouldn't pause,
Now as I'm writing my feelings need gauze

You came to us embattled
And paid it no concern
Each wound a badge of virtue
For your true soul I yearn

Am I consoled how others react?
Shrugs that disclose they've no wish to feel
Maybe we'd move to where drawing the shades
Gives you a place to be yourself again

Might I endure your suffering
My satellite of love?
